Our Kids Division was packed with young anglers who proved that age is just a number when it comes to landing a winning fish. Congratulations to our Top 3 Kids Division champions at the 2026 Paradise Bay Pounder!

🥉 3rd Place went to Tanner Bucke of Delaware, who weighed in a solid 19¾-inch, 3.0-pound flounder to earn a spot among this year's top young anglers!

🥈 2nd Place belonged to Hope Gensemer of Pennsylvania, whose impressive 20-inch, 3.4-pound flounder secured a well-earned runner-up finish.

🥇 TOP JUNIOR ANGLER! FIRST PLACE honors go to Isabella Hein of Delaware, who brought an outstanding 21-inch, 3.9-pound flounder to the scales to capture the 2026 Paradise Bay Pounder Kids Division Championship!

PENNSYLVANIA CAME TO PLAY!

What an incredible weekend at the Paradise Bay Pounder! With more than 700 anglers, this remains the largest strictly bay flounder tournament in the WORLD and Pennsylvania absolutely crushed it, claiming the top three winning spots!

The Paradise Bay Pounder features multiple ways for anglers to win, including a Top 10 Overall, Daily Calcutta with 7 winning spots each day, Top 3 Women's Division and a Top 3 Kids Division. This tournament gives anglers of all ages and experience levels a chance to compete and take home bragging rights!

Taking 3rd Place Overall, Adam Bissonnette of Pennsylvania landed an impressive 23-inch, 5.4-pound flounder. His catch earned 1st Place in the Day 1 Calcutta, taking home $5,000, and secured 3rd Place Overall, adding another $5,000 to his winnings, making his total tournament winnings $10,000.

Dan Diamond of Pennsylvania hooked a 24¼-inch, 6.1-pound flounder, earning 2nd Place Overall and taking home $10,000. He also finished 2nd in the Day 2 Calcutta, adding another $3,000 to his winnings, making his total tournament winnings $13,000.

TOP DOG. FIRST PLACE, Matt Brough of Pennsylvania brought the tournament's biggest flounder to the scales, a true FLATTY DADDY measuring 25 1/16 inches and weighing 7.2 lbs.! With that said, Matt also took 1st Place in the Daily Calcutta adding an additional $5,000 to his winnings! A total of $25,000!

The Paradise Pounder, the LARGEST Flounder Fishing Tournament in the WORLD is just around the corner folks! Captains Meeting is Tuesday; August 11th and you've got August 12th-August 16th to fish your hearts out and get on those leaderboards!

Delaware, we need ya!

Pennsylvania just swept the top three spots in the Paradise Bay Pounder and will be back looking to do it again in next month's big boy tournament! Let's not forget about the State of New Jersey, you know they ALWAYS come to play, and Maryland has a history of making a statement as well, they claimed 1st place in both the Bay Pounder and Paradise Pounder just two years ago!

The competition is coming from every direction.
