It is with the heaviest of hearts that we write this but we have been struggling these last few months with our landlord.

Today we were told by the county that our landlords went up there and said they will not be complying anymore as the building was never up to code. This leaves us with nothing our entire business has to be moved and unfortunately we don’t have the funds after the large amount of money we put into this move. We are looking at our avenues but unfortunately at this time we have been told to close.

We wish our customers the best as we start to move our items out and find out what tomorrow brings

Today, as a mother and co-owner of Hug a Mug, I have been advised against posting a baby picture or embarrassing moment, but I must extend warm birthday wishes to Zack. Please join me in celebrating not only his special day but also the invaluable contributions he makes as a co-owner. Zack is my pillar of strength and the driving force behind our business. From its inception, his vision for Hug a Mug has been to create a community-focused coffee shop where individuals can gather and share their passion for coffee. Additionally, he aimed to provide local artists with a platform to showcase and sell their artisanal goods, while serving handcrafted lattes made from the finest beans in the Carolinas, which we proudly source from our local community in Longs, SC. I encourage Zack to continue his outstanding work. We appreciate his dedication and wish him a wonderful birthday. ❤️ ✌️ ☕️
