CANDY BAR BINGO - UPDATE!!
When we first announced our special event with local children's author Stacey LeBlanc Dempsey, there was one more exciting piece of news we weren't quite ready to share.
--We're delighted to announce that illustrator Lexi Renard Artist will also be joining us, completing the creative team behind The Frosted Apron children's book series.
--Together, Stacey and Lexi will celebrate the pre-release of A Sprinkle of Library Fun: Let's Get a Cookbook!, and they'll be signing copies of both books, including A Stir of Imagination: Let's Bake a Cake.
--This is a wonderful opportunity to meet both the author AND illustrator, have your books signed, and celebrate the imagination behind these delightful stories. [And check out Lexi's paintings showcased on the walls at the coffee shop, too!]

"𝙈𝙤𝙢... 𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙩?"
-- One of the students in our summer beginner crochet class asked his mom that question before they signed up for class.
--Her answer?
"𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡. 𝘽𝙤𝙮𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙩, 𝙩𝙤𝙤."
So he came.

And this week, Jared Granger returned with his completed "Fidget Worm" homework and was ready to learn the next step. His mom, DeAnna Thibodeaux, was right there beside him. Along the way, volunteer Janis Dugas jumped in with an extra pair of hands to help instructor Colleen Morrow Hasselbach because, as Janis put it, "An extra pair of hands in class can come in handy."
--Across the table, Nancy Bonin and her grandson, Kainen Bonin, were back for their second week of learning together after discovering our beginner crochet class through Facebook.

Two boys.
Three generations.
One table.
Lots of encouragement.

That's what we love most about programs like this one.
It's not just about learning to crochet. It's about trying something new, encouraging one another, and discovering that sometimes all it takes is someone saying, "Come on... let's give it a try."

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning and helped make another wonderful Saturday at The Main Cup. We can't wait to see where those crochet hooks take our students next.
--We have a feeling they're making more than loops. 💛

The cash register at The Main Cup may be closed on Sundays.....but this Sunday, our doors and our hearts will be OPEN for Da's Table.
--Inspired by Wilda "Da" Hebert's belief that no one should ever go without a seat at the table, Da's Table is our monthly opportunity to share a meal, a smile, and a little simple faith with our community.
- Doors open at 10:00 a.m.
- Blessing at 11:00 a.m., followed by serving.

Stay and enjoy lunch with us, or pick up meals for yourself, your family, or someone who would appreciate a warm meal. We'll continue serving with love until the food runs out. And feel free to share this with someone who might not see it here on Facebook. All are welcomed.

We spend a lot of time talking about our WILDA being a great coffee. But the truth is... the best part isn't always what's in the cup.

This morning, Cheri Armentor took North Lewis French Immersion teacher Severine Dupuy on a tour of Loreauville—with WILDA along for the adventure.

And seeing Cheri end her message to us with...
