🎨 Calling All Local Artists: Mural Art Project Opportunity! 🎨
Hello, Los Alamos Community! We at BEZ Rentals are thrilled to announce an exciting community outreach project—we’re looking to commission a local artist for two unique mural art installations at our newest Airbnb location in Los Alamos!
✨About the Project: We have two distinct canvases for this project:
1️⃣ Cement Half Wall: A 3.5ft high, 68.5ft long cement slab half wall located at the front of the house. Our vision is to transform this wall into a vibrant, wild garden of native New Mexican flowers and plants, such as yucca, sage, desert marigold, Indian paintbrush, verbena, New Mexico thistle, and more. We’re seeking an artist who knows how to work with cement and apply a preservative finish to ensure the mural’s longevity.
2️⃣ Backyard Shed: A 10x12x10 shed in the backyard that we’ll sand, prime, and paint with a base color on the two back sides. The front and right sides of the shed will serve as your canvas. We envision bright, colorful native plants and flowers that complement the cement half wall in the front and the surrounding nature and canyon views.
However, we are open to your creative ideas and interpretations!

Commission Details:
✅ Budget: $1,500 plus the cost of supplies.
✅ Timeline: Ideally, we’d love to see the project completed by October 1st, but we’re flexible and can extend the deadline to October 20th if needed.
