✨ Employee Highlight – Elias ✨

Some people walk into a workplace and simply do their job. Others quietly change the entire atmosphere around them. Elias has been one of those people for Muy Salsas.

Anyone who has met Elias knows exactly what we mean when we say he is one of the kindest souls on our team. He carries a joy that feels genuine, calm, and contagious. On the busiest days, during the craziest Taco Tuesday rushes, or in moments where stress takes over, Elias somehow reminds everyone around him to breathe, smile, and remember there are bigger things in life. His faith, positivity, and attitude have had an impact not only on our team, but also on the many customers who have walked through our doors and been greeted by him.

Restaurants can be fast, chaotic, and exhausting environments, but people like Elias are what transform a workplace into a family. He has helped create a positive and welcoming environment for both employees and customers alike. Whether through a conversation, a joke, a simple smile, or simply the way he treats people with kindness and respect, Elias has left a mark on this place that goes far beyond the job itself.

Over the years, we’ve watched Elias grow tremendously — not only within Muy Salsas, but as a person stepping into adulthood with purpose, humility, and heart. Seeing him become a soon-to-be senior graduate and prepare for his next chapter in Las Cruces makes us incredibly proud, even if it’s bittersweet for us. This will also be Elias’ last month working with us as he begins a new journey at the university and starts building the next chapter of his life.

Los Alamos is a small community, and sometimes what truly shapes a town is not only the businesses themselves, but the young people within them who bring warmth, humanity, and hope into everyday interactions. Elias represents that beautifully. He reminds us why community matters and why the people behind the counter can impact others more than they realize.

As he prepares to move forward into this new path, we know he will continue to do amazing things, but he will absolutely be remembered and deeply missed by his Muy Salsas family.

If you see Elias at the restaurant this month, make sure to say hi, wish him luck, and show him some love before his next adventure begins. šŸ’› #šŸ’›šŸ’™

Los Alamos—this one matters.

We’ve been nominated in the 2026 Local Hero Ballot, and yes, we’d love your vote… but this is bigger than just one restaurant.

This is about recognition.
This is about showing that Los Alamos is more than just the Lab.
That we have flavor, community, small businesses that care—and places worth traveling for.

We’re asking you to vote for:
• Muy Salsas LA
• Pajarito Brewpub & Grill
• Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op

Three local spots, one community.

Because when we support each other, we bring attention to Los Alamos as a destination—not just a stop. We bring people in, we support our local economy, and we remind New Mexico that something special is happening up here.

And to Visit Los Alamos and the Chamber—this is one of those moments where shining a light on local businesses can really ripple outward. Helping share these nominations, celebrating them, putting them in front of more eyes… that kind of visibility makes a difference.

You’ve shown this kind of support before for a restaurant in this town—and it made a difference. This is that moment again.

Let’s make some noise.
Let’s show what Los Alamos really is.

šŸ«¶šŸ» Employee of the month

If you know Bryce, you know his love for coffee. He’s probably the most coffee-loving person we’ve ever met a true espresso guy. He genuinely enjoys our Picacho coffee and appreciates the details behind it, from the flavor to the process. It’s part of who he is — someone who values quality, routine, and the little things done right.
