Established in 2002 We have been making the best possible fried shrimp tacos in Los Angeles for over a decade now and have a strong following all over Southern California and beyond. We have also garnered attention from food critics, writers and bloggers across the nation giving us titles such as: "Best Food Truck", "Best Old School Truck", "L.A. Taco Madness 2012 - Winner" and many other accolade

We now offer two locations where you can find "L.A.'s Taco" as Bill Esparza (streegourmetla) baptized us with that title since apparently these tacos cannot be found in Mexico and have become L.A.'s own. Mr. Raul Ortega is originally from the small town of San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco in Mexico. In San Juan, Mr. Ortega he had many jobs since he was a child, his last before migrating to Los Angeles was selling steamed beef head tacos in the town's center plaza. He immediately began selling his beef tacos while working at various jobs. Eventually he opened us his own taco truck and the rest is history. Ortega can often be found working the lunch truck, taking or making orders, or talking to clients. If you happen to see him, stop him and say "Hi".

Today someone broke into our Mariscos Jalisco restaurant in Pomona stole some money, dvr destroy some things. Disappointed but happy nobody got hurt. Now I like to thank everyone supporting and special thanks to
