Empress Pavilion

Empress Pavilion Empress Pavilion offers delicious culinary masterpieces in warm and comfortable surroundings.

We did not reopen. The new Empress Pavilion is not the original one anymore. You can probably tell from the remodeling with the gold lights and trimming, very NOT classic from our original. Their dim sum is not as fresh as the way we made ours. You're welcome to go try it, but for those that loved the original one, please help spread the word.

I believe there's recently rumors about Empress Pavilion grand opening at the same location. As the owner of the original restaurant, I would like reiterate that there is a completely change of ownership and this new opening is NOT the old Empress Pavilion. They have been claiming this location to return to 25 years ago, but it will NOT be the same.

We would like to apologize to all, but the landlord's outrageous demands has put us into a dead end with no chance at all. We are now a legend. Sorry for all the support from our customers. If you want to know more about what happen, you can message us on facebook. As you know, the unattended plaza greatly led to our drop in business. Please help us share this story as a way to support us for the last time. Sorry once again.

After almost 25 years in business, Empress Pavilion – the 600-seat Chinatown dim sum palace in Bamboo Plaza – has shut its doors for good.
