UCLA Faculty Club Nestled on the east side of campus, the UCLA Faculty Club offers members a space to relax from the hustle and bustle of the main campus.

Membership open to faculty, staff and alumni. An attractive and comfortable private club, the UCLA Faculty Center offers its members a wide variety of services extending far beyond the traditional noontime meal. The Faculty Center is an entirely self-supporting membership organization for UCLA faculty, academic appointees, staff, retirees, alumni/ae and parents of UCLA students, local community re

sidents and people involved in local business. Its well-furnished rooms, lounges, and patios are available for dinners, conferences, meetings, and celebrations. All faculty, staff, alumni & members of the UCLA/Westwood business community and local community are encouraged to join. We're confident you will enjoy the congenial and relaxing atmosphere that the Faculty Center offers.

We are delighted to announce that the UCLA Faculty Club has been awarded a 2024 Preservation Award from the LA Conservancy!

Built in 1959 and designed by Austin,
Field and Fry, it is a rare example of a Mid-Century Modern Ranch style architecture in a university setting.

Since 1982, the Los Angeles Conservancy has honored excellence in historic preservation through its annual Preservation Awards. The awards are selected by an independent jury of experts in architecture, historic preservation, and community development.

On April 14th, the UCLA School of Law’s Williams Institute hosted its 22nd Gala Awards Reception and Founders Dinner at the Faculty Club. Nancy Pelosi, Emerita Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, was honored for her lifetime of leadership on behalf of the LGBTQ community. An appreciative crowd looked on.

We would like to thank the Emeriti and Retirees associations for hosting a wonderful music event at the Faculty Club last week. On Wednesday, April 12, Professor David Kaplan, Inaugural Ralph and Shirley Shapiro Chair in Piano Performance in the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, presented works by Beethoven and Kaija Saariaho to an audience of UCLA emeriti, retirees, and Faculty Club members. Professor Kaplan’s performance, followed by a Q&A, proved a grand debut of the Club's recently acquired Steinway B piano, an acquisition made possible by the Emeriti Association and several generous donors.
