Try Chef Minh Phan's innovative dishes at PHENAKITE, this year's Los Angeles Times Los Angeles Food Bowl Restaurant of the Year winner. The below is called an intermezzo dance party, served between the main courses and featuring pickled celtuce, gooseberries, spicy fermented plum gelee, Champagne-dashi gelee, kosho-coconut air, nasturtium petals, rose geranium petals, California wasabi oil and a whiff of woodruff.
