Yesterday, our family said goodbye to someone truly unforgettable, our beloved Sylvia Miceli. ❤️

Sylvia helped open Miceli’s in 1949, and so much of who we are today exists because of her. She brought warmth into every room, treated everyone like family, and poured her heart into this restaurant for decades.

She lived 95 beautiful years as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.

We’re holding each other close today, and we’re so grateful for the love this community has shown our family. Please remember to be kind to one another, all of our hearts are a bit broken right now. 💔

If you’ve had one conversation with him, we’re sure you know that it’s his love of baseball and his dedication to the community through EastValleyYouthBaseball are so proud to share that he’s been recognized by the local community once again for being the incredible leader and mentor that he is when the intersection of Whitsett Ave & Strathern St in North Hollywood was renamed as Frank S. Miceli Square!

Thank you to and his staff for the incredible recognition and for everyone who showed up to support Frank at the dedication ceremony!
