IT’S BEEN 7 YEARS. SWRLIES HAS KEPT UP WITH DEMAND & WE WOULD NOT BE HERE WITHOUT YOU.

We have a journey, a goal, an obligation to fulfill. This is more than a business, it’s a dam community. From street vending, to nearly closing doors to meeting some of my favorite artist and celebrities, the highs and lows we’ve never lost track of who we are, where we came from and where we’re heading.

HLP means more to me than selling swrls, HLP was my home growing up in the early 2000’s. I made friends in this community and lost more do to gentrification. Times have changed in HLP but one thing will never, COMMUNITY.

So to break the new norm, in 2019 we brought something to HLP that united both new neighbors and Mexican culture. We LOVE every single individual and we aim to give everyone a taste of Mexican inspired flavors and vegan flavors. We offer some of the best if not THE best real fruit Froyo and ice cream mixes in all LA. With that said, we want to give back to our community regardless if your new to town, a returning HLP OG, if your new to Swrlies or coming back for another round—- we welcome you with opened arms, a great vibe and a swrl. No matter what swrl you go with, we drill it with AMOR, with the best ingredients and you’ll love every bit of it.

WE CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S BEEN SEVEN YEARS ALREADY.

What started as something small on the corner of York Boulevard has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. From some of our favorite celebrities and artists to some of the biggest corporations in the world, we’ve had the honor of working with them.

Nothing about this journey has been easy. We started this business with no guidance, no real support, and heard things like “this will stay small” and “nobody will pay that much for ice cream.”

Even when over 200 of my own blood family members didn’t show up, at times, it was you, complete strangers, who showed up for us. Pop up after pop up. Post after post.

My wife stood by my side through it all.

Swrlies has shown us that the business world can be tough and unfair, but it has also shown us that anything is possible.

Our little business isn’t so little anymore, fam.

Thank you for everything.

One way ticket on this PINEAPPLE EXPRESS baby!

This summer (so far) has been a blessing for us at swrlies. We truly love everyone that has supported us and believed in us everyday. We work hard to be the BEST FKN FROYO in L.A! Are we!?!?!?

This weekend we are switching things up and locations. We will be out in Palmdale, Walmart neighborhood market drilling the best of the best froyo for a charity event. We'll be back in HLP in two weeks fam!
We are here to give back and change lives. Ride with us til the wheels fall off!
