On July 28th, presidential elections were held in Venezuela, with the National Electoral Council (CNE) declaring Nicolás Maduro the winner. However, prominent figures like Edmundo González and María Corina Machado have alleged electoral fraud, asserting that they have the records to support their claims, which confirm Edmundo González as the new president of Venezuela.

Since then, the country has been engulfed in a tense atmosphere. Protests have erupted in the streets, facing a harsh response from security forces, including forced detentions and abductions. The pain and uncertainty are palpable throughout Venezuela.

On August 3rd, with a message filled with hope and courage, María Corina Machado urged the people not to fall into provocations and to protest peacefully if they choose to take to the streets. In heartfelt words, she called for international support and thanked those who have spoken out against the persecution and repression that has been cruelly unleashed.

Now, more than ever, we need to stand united and strong.

El 28 de julio, se llevaron a cabo elecciones presidenciales en Venezuela, y el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) proclamó a Nicolás Maduro como ganador. Sin embargo, figuras como Edmundo González y María Corina Machado han denunciado fraude electoral, asegurando que poseen las actas que respaldan sus afirmaciones y que confirman a Edmundo González como el nuevo presidente de Venezuela.

Desde entonces, el país ha sido testigo de un clima de creciente tensión. Protestas en las calles han estallado, enfrentándose a una respuesta dura por parte de las fuerzas de seguridad, que ha incluido detenciones forzosas y secuestros. El dolor y la incertidumbre se sienten en cada rincón de Venezuela.

El 3 de agosto, en un llamado lleno de esperanza y valentía, María Corina Machado instó al pueblo a no caer en provocaciones y a manifestarse pacíficamente si deciden salir a las calles. Con palabras sinceras, pidió el apoyo de la comunidad internacional y agradeció a quienes han alzado la voz contra la persecución y la represión que se ha desplegado con crueldad.

Hoy, más que nunca, necesitamos estar unidos y fuertes.
