🚨ORDERING ALCOHOL AT HIP HOP SWEET SHOP 🚨
At Hip Hop Sweet Shop, we take alcohol sales seriously and follow strict policies to ensure the safety of our customers and our business.
✅ WE CARD EVERYONE.
We don't care how old you look, act, or who is with you to vouch for your age—we must physically see and verify your identification.
Accepted forms of ID: • State-issued photo ID • Driver's License • Passport
We DO NOT accept: ❌ Pictures of IDs on your phone ❌ Paper copies of IDs ❌ Someone else's word that you're old enough.
In addition, customers may only purchase ONE alcoholic drink at a time. Unfortunately, we have witnessed situations where customers were trying to pass drinks to individuals who did not produce valid identification. We will not risk the safety of our customers or our liquor license.
🍹 ABOUT TO-GO ALCOHOL DRINKS
We are frequently asked why customers can't take alcoholic beverages to go.
This is NOT an ABC regulation. However, it IS a requirement of our lease agreement with our landlord. Because of that agreement, we are not permitted to offer alcoholic drinks for carryout under any circumstances.
There is no workaround, exception, or special approval we can provide. We simply cannot allow alcoholic beverages to leave the premises.
To help enforce this policy, we hold your ID while you enjoy your alcoholic beverage and return it once you have finished your drink.
We understand these policies may be inconvenient at times, but they are necessary for us to remain compliant and continue serving our community.
