Thai Curry Veggie Burger

A flavorful vegetarian Thai curry veggie patty on a vegan bun with tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, yellow onion, curry ketchup, and finished with Josie Tears Hot Sauce apple jerk hot sauce for some sweet heat.

If you have been following production at the brewery over the last several weeks, you’ve probably been eagerly awaiting the release of our new lager beer utilizing Bamberger Malzerei Pilsner malt. Wait no longer, today is the day!

Allow us to introduce Zwiebeltreter Lagerbier, our take on a Franconian Lager. Lovingly titled after a nickname given to the people of Bamberg, Zwiebeltreter translates to “Onion Treader” and refers to the original main industry of the area. We were lucky enough to gain access to this grain and were inspired to create a Franconian lager.

The resulting beer is a celebration of the bready and crackery nature of this amazing malt. We single-decocted this brew to accentuate the bread crust character and enhance the overall mouthfeel and drinkability.

The resulting beer blasts the palate with sweet honey Hawaiian rolls on the front end, followed by a soft and pleasant Outback Steakhouse brown bread crusty finish. Just enough noble Hallertau hops were utilized to grab the tastebuds and beg for you to “spill the tongue” with another sip without overpowering the character of the malt.

We can’t wait for you to try this new lager offering in the taproom. Cans will hit the retail cooler in the next week or so. See you soon!
