Alto American Legion Post 528 will be having a GREEN weekend on the 16th and St Patricks day the 17th. We have an open license, we will be doing bingo both days so you can get some green; and we will be serving Corned Beef and Cabbage starting at 4 pm. Come on out I hear the Commander is Irish and knows a great recipe.

My heart is breaking to lose the other place, after hosting over 200 events from wedding receptions, birthdays, comedy shows, retirements, memorials, dinner theaters, graduations. It was great.

An update on our re-opening. We will be open Fri and Sat for take out. Monday we open at 3pm for Happy Hour and a limited menu. Burgers and Mexican mostly, we will add items as prices fall on streaks etc.,. We will have to social distance and limit capacity but the patio will be open for dining and beverages. Everything has been cleaned twice and sanitized, also those funny looking fans have been cleaned and new filters put in! These fans pick up all those things floating around in the air!

The chili cook off is less than 2 weeks away! The spots are filling up, the band is set(Home Brewed), making a return for about the 9th time, and the weather looks like it will be 62 and sunny. Join us on the 10th your help is needed to raise some cash for our own local charity Neighbor to Neighbor.

The Day is finally here! Half Way to St Patrick's Day. I can hear Paddy's Cure Warming up for their 7 pm performance with a glass of Guinness and a shot of Jamison. Oh by the way I can smell the corned beef and cabbage cooking. It' going to be a great day, enjoy it.
