Thai Thai restaurant has been in Lubbock, Tx for 22 years and is owned and operated by Radium and Ooan Rittiluechai. ChooChai Restaurant on 19th street was originally owned and operated by ChooChai and Pranom Rittiluechai and is the first Thai restaurant to establish.

On May 14th, 2026: While waiting for the big boss to come back from Japan in Las Vegas, I have the opportunity to take the CEO to his preschool and pick him up later. It reminds me of the year 1988, the first year of Thai Thai; I dropped my son off at 2nd Baptist's preschool on 52nd and Elgin. I watched my son cry for a week after I dropped him off. This time I dropped my grandson off, and he walked into his classroom smiling. I sure miss the old days.

May 19th, 2026: While the big boss was away, our staff spent time cleaning. The grease had built up during the busy week, and it took days to get the most out of it. I used to do this every week, but since my injury from the accident doing this cleaning last year, I have to find time during our closed days to do it instead. I am not as flexible as I think I am.
