Meet the Staff Monday ❤️
This week’s post is one we never wanted to have to write.
If you’ve spent any time at Iron & Ale over the last few years, chances are you’ve been greeted by her smile, laughed at one of her jokes, or had the pleasure of being served one of her incredible drinks. Louie has been so much more than a bartender… she’s been a huge part of the heart of this place.
She joined the Iron & Ale family at the beginning of 2023 as a server and quickly became one of the faces our guests know and love behind the bar. Her kindness, contagious laughter, work ethic, and ability to make everyone around her feel like family have left a mark on all of us.
Born and raised right here in Lynchburg, she’s now beginning an exciting new adventure as she moves to Charleston, SC with her husband. While we’re so excited for everything this next chapter has in store for her (especially all the beach days with her sweet pup Sunny 🐶), it’s impossible to imagine Iron & Ale without her.
There are some people who come through a workplace, and then there are people who become part of its story. She is one of those people.
Thank you for showing up every day with the biggest heart, for taking care of our guests like they were your own, for making us laugh when we needed it most, for creating memories we’ll never forget, and for helping make Iron & Ale what it is today.
Your Iron & Ale family loves you more than words can say, and while we’ll miss you every single day, we couldn’t be happier for you as you start this new adventure.
If you see her this week, be sure to stop by and wish her well! Friday will be her last day behind the bar, and we’d love for her to feel just how loved she is.
Charleston is lucky to have you. ❤️
With all of our love,
Your Iron family🫶🏼
