Well, y'all… the countdown is officially OVER!

At 5:00 AM tomorrow morning (November 1st), I'll be heading out on a new adventure to BELIZE! 🇧🇿🌴

MoldsOfFun LLC is taking a little field trip, and this time it's all about experiencing new cultures, exploring new flavors, learning, and bringing home a little inspiration.

There may be chocolate involved… okay, let's be honest, there's DEFINITELY going to be chocolate involved! 🍫😉

💚🍫 MoldsOfFunLLC Is Going BACK TO THE ROOTS OF CHOCOLATE! 🇧🇿

Y'all… guess who's going to BELIZE?! 👀✈️

November 1st–14th, I'll be heading to San Ignacio, Belize, for an experience that's about to make this chocolatier's heart VERY happy!

I'm going to experience traditional Maya chocolate-making firsthand at AJAW Chocolate & Crafts! 🍫✨

Before chocolate became the bars, truffles, bonbons, and decadent creations we know and love today, there was cacao… and a rich cultural history behind it.

And this time, I'm not just going to enjoy the chocolate. I'm going to learn how it's made!

As a chocolatier, I believe there's always something new to discover, techniques to learn, and inspiration to bring back to the table. And I cannot WAIT to experience this part of chocolate's history for myself!

So, MoldsOfFun family, get ready! 🇧🇿💚

I'll be sharing pieces of this adventure with you, from the experience itself to the inspiration I bring home.

Because around here, we're always growing, always learning, and always finding new ways to make life a little sweeter.

💍🍰 MY FIRST EVER WEDDING CAKE 🍰💍
I FINALLY HAVE THE PICTURES!!! 😭😭😭

Y'all don't understand what this means to me.
This was my very first wedding that I had the honor of baking for. My first time creating an entire wedding dessert experience, my first wedding cake, my first time seeing something I had imagined in my head actually sitting at a couple's wedding.

And then… I FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE DAMN CAKE. 😂😂😂

I took pictures of the dessert table.

I took pictures of everything else.

But the ONE thing I absolutely needed pictures of?
THE WEDDING CAKE.
🤦🏽‍♀️😂

I was so focused on making sure everything was done, everything was beautiful, and everything was where it needed to be that it completely slipped my mind.

So I've been waiting for the professional photos ever since.
And now that I finally have them, I can actually stop saying:

"I swear I made a wedding cake… I just don't have a picture of it." 😂

HERE SHE IS. ❤️

My very first wedding cake.

Looking back at this photo, I don't just see cake. I see the beginning of something I wasn't even completely sure I was capable of doing yet.

I see all the late nights.

The nerves.
The second-guessing.
The learning.
The figuring-it-out-as-I-went.
And then I see the finished cake sitting at someone's wedding.

And damn… I'm proud of her. 🥹

This cake represents a pretty important moment in my journey as a baker and as a business owner.

It was my first wedding.

And it definitely won't be my last. 💚🖤✨
