Trains are back to normal starting Monday March 16th!
The portal bridge has been upgraded and trains are NOW going to NYC Penn Station again!
Could me on back to Hava G’day Cafe! Open at 5am!

Since February 15th business here at Hava G’day Cafe has been brutal. No trains are going into NYC Penn Station and NJ Transit is working on upgrading the bridge portal. So all trains in Madison are being diverted to Hoboken!
The work is supposed to be completed by March 15th 🤞🏻
I’ve been in business for 19 years here and other than being closed for 2 years and 11 days during the pandemic, this ranks as the second worst period for me!
I’m just venting some frustration!

Well we’re back after a mother load of snow hitting North Jersey!
I have fresh hot coffee here at Hava G’day Cafe waiting for you!
I’ve been here for 19 years inside thre historic Madison Train Station main lobby located on Kings Road, Madison, NJ!

So if you’re looking for some early morning coffee, I’m open at 5am Monday through Thursday!

It was 13 degrees outside at 5am! Come on down to Hava G’day Cafe as I made some fresh brewed hot coffee for you! Put a lip lock on it while listening to some sweet music here in this historic train sstation!
I’m located inside the Madison Train Station on Kings Road, Madison, NJ!
Open from 5am - 8:30 Monday through Thursday! I’m just a small business in need of local support!
We’re on of the “Crown Jewels 💎 of Madison!”
Too many coffee shops in the area!

Recently another coffee shop opened in town with another coming soon!
To each their own, you can go to a franchise coffee shop but there is something special shopping local & supporting small local businesses. Choose wisely and please reconsider who you are supporting!

Today is Harry Chapin Day here at Hava G'day Cafe! Saturday Harry would’ve been 83 years old! birthday! So today we celebrate his music here at Hava G’day Cafe!
You see, Harry is one of my heroes who's life was cut short 44 years ago at the age of 38. He was one of the good guys!
A masterful singer/storyteller, Harry looked out for "the other guy", as his accountant would say (every year), "Harry I have good news & I have bad news, this year you made more money then you ever have & you gave more money away than ever before!" Harry's response would be, "that's good!"
So come on down to Hava G'day Cafe and celebrate his life with me!
May Harry's songs be sung!
