Lily was just 7 years old and in first grade when she decided she wanted to run her own business. Lily spent some time thinking up different business ideas and running them by family, friends, and teachers. One of her teachers mentioned that when she was a kid, she had had a cotton candy machine and sold cotton candy to neighborhood kids. Lily immediately loved the idea and asked her parents to he

lp her set up and run her business. While looking at some of the available premade cotton candy mixes available on the market, she was really put off when she saw the ingredient lists, so she decided we should go dye-free.

We're in the final days of Best of Madison voting.

Seven years ago, Lily's Magical Treats started with one little girl's idea. Since then, we've had the privilege of being part of hundreds of birthdays, weddings, school events, corporate picnics, fundraisers, and community celebrations and events throughout the Madison area.

Being named a finalist for Best Artisan Food is something we're incredibly proud of, and it's only possible because of all of you.

This weekend we ran 3 stations with 10 machines at one of the largest corporate events in the Madison area, serving thousands of guests throughout the day.

When things get busy, we do whatever it takes to keep the lines moving and the guests happy. That's just what you do.

That last photo is what the bowl looks like at the end of a very long, very full day. Inches of sugar buildup—and every bit of it served with a smile.
