Mint Bistro way over due update.

The short story for those that want to know what is going on. Mint Bistro will not be reopening in its current form and in its current space. The picture below shows a kitchen fire now under investigation for the third or fourth time, 70!! days after the fire.

Mint Bistro’s lease was up for renewal in November and we have made the decision to not continue in this property. Quite frankly- because we can’t.

In an effort to remain positive, Mint Bistro will not be going away but it will look different. As the insurance companies continue to do what they do and the blame game continues between lawyers, the landlord, and insurance companies- there is only one choice and that is to leave these premises.

Mint Bistro will essentially morph into two businesses on Elm St. One will be “Mint Sushi” and the other will be “The Mint”

While Mint Sushi has a home, which will be 889 Elm St., The Mint does not definitively have a home but we hope that it will soon.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and many more updates will follow.

This is not how we wanted to go out but you can guarantee we will rebuild and keep the mint experience alive.

Mint Bistro Update:

One month ago today Mint Bistro had a devastating fire. The Manchester Fire Department called the fire undetermined.

Mint Bistro has been cooperative through the process of insurance. One month later the restaurant is still ”under investigation” from the insurance company. We have been unable “by demand” for insurance to touch a single thing or discard of product. The restaurant currently sits at the exact point that it did 30 days after the fire event waiting for a path forward.

All employees are being paid out of pocket as we believe the insurance coverage is properly in place.

The future of Mint Bistro is uncertain at this moment in time.

Our current hope is that the insurance company and the landlord do their job so that we can get back to doing what we love to do.

We pledge to have an update later this week.

Mint Bistro Update:

As many of you already know, Mint Bistro experienced a kitchen fire on Monday, April 25th. At this moment in time, it is impossible to determine a reopening date as the overall damage is still being assessed. We promise to keep you all up to date.

We appreciate all of the love and offers to help. Our amazing staff has been kept up to speed and will continue to be paid during this time.

Unfortunately we will not be able to participate in this years Taco Tour. We hope to see you all out there in what is without question one of the best days of the year in downtown Manchester.

We look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible…

Hello Everyone.

Mint Bistro experienced a fire in the kitchen last night. Thankfully everyone is safe.

We will be closed for an undetermined amount of time but will have more updates on this page within the next day or two.

Our focus at this time is on our amazing crew. We will look forward to getting back to doing what we love as soon as possible.

Hungry? Elm House of Pizza and The Wild Rover are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
