Thank you MPAL for having Don Quijote once again! It was exciting seeing their interest in making plantains. They also learned how quickly you can plan a meal with items in your fridge . We made a delicious and healthy pasta salad, with steak peppers and onions, sweet plantains, and a version of Morir sonnado. It is a favorite in our Dominican culture and an orange lemonade with inventory right from the pantry. See you all soon.

Please don’t forget to join us for Earth Day this Saturday and clean our Lincoln street Central Little League park. We are also taking registrations for kids between 6 and 12 years of age. Please help build our community by either volunteering, or sponsoring a team. We will have ice cream sundaes after the clean up.
