We have good news, and we have some other news.

The good news is VERY GOOD news: Renovations to our building have begun in earnest! New equipment, updated design, and better technology for us mean an all-around better experience for you. While we are aware this process has not been delightful for any of us, we are incredibly excited about the future! We have always and will always do everything we can to provide you the best quality product and highest level of service possible--and this is part of that pledge.

However, because of these renovations, the deli will no longer have hot lunches. We will continue to offer the best sandwiches in Manchester made with care by the best crew anywhere! Be sure to stop in!

Today, we had the privilege of presenting each member of the Manchester Fire Department who responded to our recent fire with a $100 Spring Street Market gift card as a small token of our appreciation.

There are simply no words that can fully express our gratitude for the professionalism, courage, and compassion these first responders showed during such a difficult time. We are incredibly thankful for each of you and for the difference you make in our community every single day.

We also look forward to recognizing the members of the Manchester Police Department who assisted that day and will be presenting them with gift cards as well.

A power outage and a small fire at a Manchester grocery store last week turned into a remarkable story of trust, teamwork and neighbors helping neighbors.

Manchester's Spring Street Market lost power before July 4th. Customers paid on the honor system, and everyone came back. First Responders also saved the day.

Talk about hometown heroes! Manchester is blessed to have absolutely the finest people in uniform. This is definitely not how any of these incredible people wanted to spend their evening, especially before July 4th, but they showed up strong and went far above and beyond to help us tonight. Not only did they make sure the fire was completely eliminated, but they helped pull all 17 doors of frozen product before anything was lost! They could have left after the fire was gone, but they didn't. These teams worked so hard and we can not thank them enough. Small town spirit means big hearts and big hands. Manchester Police Department and Manchester Fire Department, you all are so unbelievably amazing and we honor you. Thank you.
