Tuesday’s tidbits with Dan:
We come off of our busiest week since we opened with more exciting news. I am scheduled to be on The Food Show with Mary Ann Fitzmorris today. Try to tune in. I’ll try not to screw it up.
Creole tomatoes are on the down side.
The stink bugs have arrived and we’re at the fourth and fifth tiers of tomatoes which means smaller and less quality. They will be gone quickly.
Eggplant is in full swing and should be until November.
I’ve been pickling everything as quickly as in can and you can catch all of these products in our restaurant.
Garlic is pulled and drying out nicely.
