The Mustafa's opened their first restaurant in 1981 at the University Square in Baton Rouge. Moon, a local food critique, gave them a full moon. (Aka a 5 star rating). Their recipes have remained the same and are still just as authentic. They pride themselves on having a personal relationship with their customers, treating them like family and being able to offer authentic delicious and healthy cuisine.

We are sorry to say that this will be our last week opening as Al Sultan. Mike was diagnosed with kidney failure a few months ago and we have been trying to keep the restaurant going but it has been very difficult on us. It’s been a pleasure serving our community, till we meet again.
