Drinks & Thinks- How to Know a Witch When You See One Sunday, October 25th 2026 | 2:30-4pm

Join us for an afternoon with Dr. Kelsie Doty, Verna Sullivan-Marler Professor of Fashion Studies, Kansas State University, to explore the historical traces of fashion such as striped socks, pointed hats, black cloaks, maybe a broom that were used to accuse women of witchcraft and to vilify them. Would you know a witch if you saw one? For centuries, the figure of the witch has been recognized as much by her clothing as by her deeds. This talk traces the history of women accused of witchcraft, and the dress and visual markers used against them. We'll look at how these visual codes took shape, what they reveal about the anxieties of the societies that created them, and how many of those same markers still shape how we picture a "witch" today.

This event is FREE and a reservation is required. Reserve your seats on our Tock profile (link in bio)

Arrow sustainability club is at it again! The mission is to keep usable items out of the landfill, share resources, and build some community. Here's how it works:

🎃Drop off any unwanted and outgrown costumes for others to use! Please make sure they are clean and usable.
🎃Let us mend any costumes that may need new life!
🎃Walk out with an improved or new-to-you costume!

Don't have a costume to swap, but need one for Halloween? That's okay- stop on by and take a look at what others have left!
