🥵 It’s a hot one out there!
The heat index is pushing 100°, and inside many food truck kitchens it’s a different world altogether. Today, our trailer is sitting around 120°, with temperatures climbing even higher in front of the grill and fryers.
To all of our fellow food truck crews, first responders, construction workers, road crews, landscapers, farmers, and everyone working outside today… we see you. Stay safe.
💧 Drink water before you’re thirsty.
🧂 Replace those electrolytes.
☀️ Take a few minutes in the shade whenever you can.
❤️ Check on your coworkers—they may not realize how overheated they are.
And if you stop by a food truck today, remember there’s a good chance the crew serving your lunch has been standing in temperatures hotter than your oven at home. A little patience and a smile go a long way.
Stay cool, look out for one another, and we’ll keep the grill hot so you don’t have to. 🔥🍔
