Hello Music Manistee Friends!
The Music Manistee Movement started many years ago now and, to our surprise, at some point every summer you will find live music on every night of the week throughout all of Manistee County for weeks on end... Wonder when that is? it's the month of August-when the tomatoes get ripe and are hanging on the vine We are the Manistee Farmers Market after all!
As many of you know, we pride ourselves on universal languages of life here at the Manistee Farmers Market. We are a food hub first and live music and artisan lovers a very close second. All these things of passion and creativity bring us closer together as a community. In turn we can connect and understand each other's lives and challenges and look for ways to help each other and be inspired. Food and Music Medicine go a long way.
So it's really simple when you cross paths with other food, beverage, artisan and music lovers like our friends at The Outsider! On top of that, it's their own love for the outdoors and all the local parks and recreational areas around town makes it a perfect partnership.
So please join us in supporting this new concert series "Outside at the Outsider" The first show of the season is this Saturday from 6-8pm featuring Luke Woltanski Music hailing from Traverse City, Michigan. He is a singer/songwriter and performer with a diverse portfolio of original music and re-arranged covers, he captivates audiences at over 250 shows each year across the U.S. Known for his high-energy performances and engaging storytelling, Luke’s shows make his audiences dance, laugh and cry. He's dangerous that way!
So Music Manistee people!…Let's do what we do best...dance like nobody's watching!
