You’ve been asking… where can you find Lucas now? 🍦❤️

When we closed Dad’s Doughs, Lucas planned to slow down, spend the summer with our kids, and enjoy some much-needed family time.

Then one of our favorite local businesses reached out with an opportunity that just felt right.

We’re excited to share that Lucas has joined Mountain Dairy Creamery as their new Creamery Manager!

Mountain Dairy has been a longtime supporter of Dad’s Doughs, so this next chapter feels especially meaningful. While Lucas still plans to spend plenty of time at home with the kids, you’ll now be able to find him at the Creamery helping serve up the same hospitality and friendly smile that so many of you came to know over the years.

He won’t be there quite as often as you found him at Dad’s Doughs (family still comes first! ❤️), but if you see him, be sure to stop by and say hello.

Thank you for continuing to support local businesses and the people behind them. We couldn’t ask for a better community, and we’re excited to see Lucas continue doing what he loves—making people feel welcome.

See you around the Creamery! 🍩➡️🍦💙

A hometown heart. A familiar face. A new chapter at Mountain Dairy Creamery🐄❤️

Please join us in welcoming Lucas Ahern as our new Creamery Manager!

Born and raised in Mansfield, Lucas has spent more than 20 years building a career centered around one thing: hospitality. After gaining experience with Back Bay Restaurant Group and The Stockyard in Boston, he returned home to Connecticut in 2014.

Many of you know Lucas from Camille’s Wood Fired Pizza, where guests affectionately called him “Uncle Lucas,” and where his passion for making every guest feel like family earned him the title “King of Hospitality.” Others know him as the owner of Dad’s Doughs, where he built a business rooted in community, quality, and supporting local farms and businesses.

Now, that journey comes full circle.

As someone who grew up enjoying Mountain Dairy products, Lucas is honored to join the team and help continue the traditions that have made Mountain Dairy a Connecticut favorite for generations. His goal is simple: provide exceptional hospitality, support our local community, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.

When you visit the Creamery this season, be sure to say hello and help us give Lucas a warm Mountain Dairy welcome.

Welcome home, Lucas! 💙🍦

🍩 ONE LAST WEEK 🍩

Well friends… this is it.

Our final week of business is here, and we’d love the opportunity to see as many of you as possible before we close our doors for the last time.

The last 18 months have been filled with countless smiles, celebrations, conversations, and memories that our family will cherish forever. Thank you for supporting our dream and allowing us to be part of this incredible community. ❤️

As we wind down, quantities will be limited and some flavors may sell out quickly. For our final week, we’ll open each day at 7:00 AM and remain open until we sell out for the day.

📅 FINAL WEEK SCHEDULE

✅ Sun, June 14 – OPEN
✅ Mon, June 15 – OPEN
❌ Tue, June 16 – CLOSED
❌ Wed, June 17 – CLOSED
✅ Thu, June 18 – OPEN
✅ Fri, June 19 – OPEN
✅ Sat, June 20 – OPEN
🍩 Sun, June 21 – FINAL DAY OF BUSINESS (Father’s Day)

There’s something especially fitting about our final day landing on Father’s Day. Dad’s Doughs started as a family dream, and we’re grateful that our last day will be spent celebrating with the community that made that dream possible.

If you’ve been thinking about stopping in one more time, now is the time. Come grab your favorite doughnuts, share a memory, and help us make this last week one we’ll never forget.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Dad’s Doughs story. ❤️

The time has come to close a chapter.

This one is hard.
But it is also full of gratitude.

Dad’s Doughs started as an idea.
It became a shop, a community, and something we will carry with us forever.

While we are sad to say goodbye, Dad (and his real life kids) are ready for what comes next.
An adventure filled summer.
More time together.
And yes… plans for the first ever Dad Camp are already in the works.

We hope you come see us a few more times before we close our doors.
It would mean a lot to us.

Thank you for being part of this dream.

Everyday is Doughnut Day.
