Whats for dinner yall? The Palmers are having baked drumsticks, field peas, okra, and cornbread muffins.
No that lid does not fit on that pot unfortunately most of my dishes, pots, and pans are still packed in the trailer we used for storage. 😔 Really hoping to have everything out before Thanksgiving! Also looking for a kitchen table before then. 😬

The sweet parents of one of my homeschoolers here gave us this hutch after I mentioned looking for one to turn into my coffee bar! I'll post pictures at the end of the week or weekend so you can see what all I have done to it. I need to purchase some pretty garland first. 🥰🎄

We have had a great much needed restful day today. Slept in, no meals cooked only finger foods and snacks, haven't left the couch much, and watching movies on Great American Pureflix with the hubby and daughter. My girl did enjoy skating through the house tonight which she was unable to do when we were in the camper so she was so happy to have her skates. There has not been a single car on this street the entire day today! Not a golf cart or side-by-side, nothing. Just a quiet peaceful day of rest for us in this house God has blessed us with on this perfectly quiet road (besides our dogs barking at the deer all day and all night 🤦‍♀️) and just feeling so blessed by all God has done for us and in us. ❤️

This would make a great gift! I'd much rather our girl be gifted with books, magazines, or tickets to go to different places than toys. We have enough toys and she doesn't play with any of her toys. They end up in the toy box or in her organizer to collect dust. 🤣 She loves outside, reading, making things, science experiments, and going on "fieldtrips" more than toys even though she's going to ask for a million things every year. Plus she loves checking the mailbox and finding a magazine with her name on it! What's some ideas you have this year for your kids Christmas?

Hey hey! I haven't been on here in a few days. We officially started school last week and it's been super busy for me. My husband has been in so much pain and can't lift his right arm up. It's been like this since October 12th or 13th. He's going today for the MRI results. We appreciate your prayers. So since he's been down it's all been on me and there's still so much that needs to be done. We still have so much of our belongings in the trailers and not moved in to the house. I will say I am so very thankful for the families of my Homeschoolers. We've felt like we have no village for quite some time now but they have offered to help move our things and to watch our daughter during doctor appointments and it just felt good knowing we have people that would do those things for us. Now Mr. Palmer has way too much pride to accept the help and stand back and let people help unload the trailer. When I asked him he said he would end up hurting his arm even worse because he couldn't let someone else do all the work for him. That's just the kind of man he is. He said he would appreciate help once he's no longer in pain and can lift his arm. We are just thankful for the people we do have in our lives and we know God has His hands on us and this too shall pass.
