⛳️ Calling all young golfers! Registration is now open for our Annual Youth Golf Tournament at Zumbro Valley Golf Course!

Whether your kids are already competitive golfers or just love getting out on the course with friends, this is always one of the most fun days of the summer. It’s a relaxed, friendly tournament where everyone has a chance to compete, make memories, and maybe even take home some prizes! 🏆

Here’s what you need to know:
📅 Monday, August 3
🕧 Registration: 12:30 PM
🏌️ Tee Off: 1:00 PM

✅ 2-Person Scramble
👦 Ages 10-13 & 14-18
💲 Just $20 per team
🥤 Includes a meal and fountain pop
🚶 Walk or ride (cart available for ages 16+ for an additional $10)

⛳📖 100 Years of Memories:

One of the coolest parts of celebrating 100 years is hearing from the people who helped make Zumbro Valley Golf Course what it is today... and whose lives were shaped by it, too.

James Gardner recently shared this incredible piece of ZVGC history.

James says the course gave him his introduction to the game of golf, a passion that led to college golf and eventually a successful career as a golf course superintendent. Along the way, he spent countless rounds with friends Jeff Wendler and Arlie Allen, making memories that still hold a special place in his heart.

But check out the scorecard he shared…

On August 10, 1977, James shot a 30 on Zumbro Valley’s nine holes, and according to the note written on the card, it was the course record at the time. 🔥

Now Superintendent Jeff says that record has since been beaten... by him with a 27 🤔

If your Independence Day plans include sunshine, golf, and a cold beverage, you’re in luck. Zumbro Valley Golf Course and the Bunker Bar will be open regular hours all holiday weekend long, including the 4th of July.

Please note that our friends upstairs at Hidden Pines Bar & Grill will be taking a well-deserved break and will be closed July 4 and 5.

So grab your clubs, round up your golf buddies, and come spend part of your holiday weekend with us. We can’t think of a much better way to celebrate! ⛳🇺🇸🍻

Congratulations to Kasson-Mantorville’s Logan Johnson on a fantastic showing at the Class AA Minnesota State Golf Tournament this week! 👏⛳

Logan battled his way to a tie for 26th place (76,75) in the state against some of Minnesota’s best high school golfers.

From all of us at Zumbro Valley Golf Course, congratulations on an incredible season and an outstanding finish at state. We’re proud to cheer on one of our local golfers and can’t wait to see what’s next!
