What an incredible week! 👩‍🍳✨

Our very first Mission Center Café Culinary Camp has officially come to a close, and we couldn't be more proud of these talented young chefs!

Throughout the week, students learned new culinary skills, built confidence in the kitchen, explored creativity through food, and created some amazing dishes along the way.

A huge thank you to Chef Kate for sharing her expertise, encouragement, and passion with our students, and to every family who entrusted us with your young cooks this week.

Some of our favorite moments happen around a table. Food has a way of bringing people together, building confidence, creating memories, and teaching skills that last a lifetime.

That's why we're so excited to partner with Reclaim Arts Academy for our very first Culinary Camp with Chef Kate!

Students will learn practical kitchen skills, prepare meals together each day, and finish the week with a Top Chef-style cook-off.

Beautiful food starts with simple skills.

Chef Kate’s background includes fine dining and catering, but every chef starts the same way: learning techniques, understanding flavor, and getting comfortable in the kitchen.

This summer’s Culinary Camp is designed to give students those building blocks in a fun, hands-on environment.

And yes… they’ll be cooking and eating together every day 😄🍽️

Plus, camp ends with a “Top Chef” style challenge where students create and apply what they’ve learned!

Step into the kitchen with Chef Kate this summer! Mission Center Cafe is partnering with Reclaim Arts Academy to bring our very first Culinary Camp June 8-11 🍽✨

Students ages 12 through adult have a chance to learn the foundations behind great cooking including:
🔪 Kitchen safety
👩‍🍳 Cooking techniques
🧂 Flavor building basics
🍴 Meal preparation

Each day, students will cook and enjoy a meal together, and the week finishes with a fun "Top Chef" style cook-off where they'll put their new skills to work!

Chef Kate brings experience from fine dining and large-scale catering, making this a unique opportunity for students who love food, creativity, or want to build confidence in the kitchen.
