I have been making homemade chicken dumpling dumpling soup since I was 12 and practicing with different styles of dumplings and everything else. Here’s the secret. Everything needs to be made from scratch and with love. 🥰🥰🥰
I didn’t have time for a full food prep this week guys (family wedding and holiday events). But I did make some of my amazing:
🦃🍁Homemade Chicken Dumpling Soup & my Root Yummy’s.
The chicken dumpling soup is made from scratch and homegrown (everything except noodles). Even the dumplings are made w/our farm fresh eggs. This soup has a buttery comfort taste, without using any butter. My favorite toss in’s when serving: paprika, cayenne, hot sauce, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire or just a little more pink Himalayan salt. *Always had luck freezing my soups for those unforeseen under the weather days.
Root Yummy’s
I do not have a name for this recipe but I’ve always called it root yummy’s and it is out of this world. The pickiest of eaters will be asking for seconds. This dish consists solely of all root vegetables plus a few garden brussel sprouts. Everything is marinated for up to 24 hours in a blend of my favorite herbs, seasonings, oils then roasted to perfection.
Best way to enjoy this dish. Heated and plain or add small pad of real butter and pink salt.
