*CLOSED FOR REMAINDER OF THURSDAY 7/16*

The conditions have only gotten worse as the day continues, and so we will remain closed today.

We plan on opening tomorrow morning at 11:30am regardless of the smoke conditions. We prioritize the health and safety of our staff, but none of us can afford to live in Marquette if we don't have consistent work to pay the bills!

Hopefully the overnight and morning change in wind direction and strength will make tomorrow's conditions less hazardous!

*CLOSING FOR LUNCH TODAY, THURS 7/16*

We will be re-evaluating conditions late afternoon and trying to open for dinner service at 5pm

A brief explanation as to why we are closing when other restaurants stay open:

As many in our community know, our building was originally an automobile garage when it was first constructed and has since evolved into the restaurant we have today. As a result, our grills and fryers are behind the bar in the service area, and the return air vents for our hood system are in the galley further back in our kitchen. And while there are filters on our return air vents, these filters are not rated to remove wildfire smoke, thus resulting in our kitchen staff being subjected to outside air being pulled directly into their work stations. Also, this air gets pulled into our dining room and makes our dining room smokey as well.

While these hazardous conditions persist, we cannot in good conscience subject our staff and patrons to these air quality conditions indoors as well as outdoors.

We are cautiously hopeful that changes in the wind will bring the air quality conditions down out of the hazardous zones over the next couple hours.

Thank you for being patient with us while we navigate these unusual conditions!

In order to protect the Health and Safety of our staff we will be suspending service for the remainder of today, Wednesday 7/15. The extreme spike in AQI over the past couple hours to a hazardous level creates unsafe conditions for our staff working extended hours inside our restaurant.

We apologize for all the disappointment and inconvenience this causes our beloved patrons! We look forward to seeing you all again once *visibility* has improved 😫😓

Mike and I are feeling a bit nostalgic today. It’s hard to believe, but 20 years ago tomorrow we took over this little pub, and a dream came true. Those of you who know us know that Mike and I met at JJs Shamrock in 1994. 🦕 We also met some of our life long friends there.
We have had a lot of people tell us over the years that they met their partners at Stucko’s Pub & Grill. Many others celebrated their wedding day here, celebrations of life events, birthdays, had their first date, met their BFFs, etc.
