MAGIC TOWN!
Y’all showed up hard for Mermaids and we love you for it.
From the deepest part of my heart, I am filled with so much Joy, Love and Gratitude for all of you for making Marshall the most magic place in all the land.
We are back baby!!
Our first Mermaids since the flood was a blast and it felt so good.
Our people are the best people.
The staff at absolutely crushed. Everyone did amazing and I love and appreciate all the hard-work and good attitudes. Thanks for caring. I see you and I appreciate you.

The Marshall Mermaid Parade and Festival is tomorrow…in case you didn’t know.
It’s the best thing ever. Come dressed in your best nautical themed attire!!
All day long in downtown Marshall. Come early. Stay late! Music, market, splash zone, shenanigans…we’ve got it all. Come get wet with us!
Parade starts at 5pm.

I know it’s late in the week to be finally getting the word out, but our specials this week are just so lovely!

A Chicken Caesar Wrap, grilled or fried, served with a side of your choice.

And a Lemon Chicken Orzo soup that tastes like love…

Pielihueso Naranjo
Is an Argentinian White blend made of Torrontes, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay.  This funky yet clean orange wine has notes of guava orange blossom, white flowers, citrus zest and tea like tannins.

Old Mans Pilsner (fonta flora brewing) a west coast-style pilsner dry-hopped with citra, mosaic and talus. At 5.2% ABV this is a refreshing hoppy pilsner!

Just Pressed - lime ginger sour (ballad brewing) A blended wheat beer and sour ale that balances tart and sweet flavors with a hint of refreshing lime and warming ginger.

L’Amandier Cinsault is a beautiful spring red. This 100% Cinsault is bursting with notes of blueberries, cassis, violet, and strawberries and seemingly seasoned with white pepper, L’Amandier is the ultimate easy-drinking, everyday red.

This weeks special is a Grilled Pesto chicken sandwich; served on a brioche bun with garlic aioli, topped with spinach and tomato. Comes with choice of one side.  $16.

We are also featuring a beautiful seasonal rosé. Rezabal Txakolina Rosè.
This Spanish wine is made of Hondarrabi Beltza grapes. This wine has a distinct minerality and complex combination of aromatics and notes including wild strawberry, citrus, and jalapeño pepper. At $14 per glass/ $37 per bottle

Dining Out For Life is a celebration that supports both the local participating restaurants and the lives of those living and thriving with HIV while raising money for WNCAP’s life-saving services.
Now in its 24th year, Dining Out for Life has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in the fight against HIV/AIDS around the globe.”

Spring is happening! The sunshine is amazing out here on the patio. Some new specials this week:
Avocado B.L.T with Mediterranean pasta salad.
Toasted sourdough layered with crisp bacon, avocado, tomato and spring mix; finished with a housemade tangy cream sauce. Served with pasta salad tossed in a zesty Italian vinaigrette with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, and finished with feta and parsley.

Bajta Pet-Nat

This Slovenian naturally bottle fermented unfiltered pét- nat is made of entirely of environmentally friendly yellow muscat grapes.
Kobal Wines’ vineyards sit on the Slovenian / Austrian boarder in a particularly hilly terrain characterized by cold winters and hot summers making this a beautiful wine to experience.
This unfiltered pét-nat is fizzy and floral with tasting notes of citrus blossom, lemon, fennel, ripe peach and honeysuckle lively mousse with high crisp acidity.
A perfect bottle to share by the river on a beautiful spring day or pack for your next picnic.

We are hosting a fish fry at and the for my dear friend Jaime Ager on Monday March 23rd from 5-7pm.
It is my honor to support my friend Jaime in his run for Congress.
Rarely in life do you get to vote for someone you really like and almost never do you get to vote for someone you actually know and love.
I’ve know Jaime for 28 years since we first met on the soccer field at Warren Wilson college. He is a 4th generation farmer and a truly good person who will be a great representative for WNC. He is our people and represents mountain values.
