Marshfield! Boy did you show up for Kay today! Not only did she give out almost 300 suckers in 2 hours(seriously!), you also gave some money AND even a gift card to her. She had a great birthday and together, we're giving $500.00 to Wildwood Park & Zoo! This was the happiest of birthdays!

May 11th was our friend Kay's 78th Birthday!

She's a crossing guard, she's a wildwood zoo staff, she's a volunteer, and an outstanding generous member of our community.

She was handing out suckers to children at her post for a birthday treat, and a parent called the police department on her.

We back the blue, this isn't about them.
We back parents watching out for our kids. This isn't about them. But it is about party poopers.

So, this Saturday, May 16th, from 9AM to 11AM we're going to celebrate Kay's birthday and have her come give our people in line unpoisened, wrapped, sugar ridden suckers. We told her we would donate 1.00 for EACH sucker handed out to her choice of community service and she chose the animals of Wildwood Park & Zoo.

Please come celebrate Kay with us and let's raise some money. Cause well, by now you know, when you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. That's what community is and that's what Coffee Cabin does: community.

You'll notice a few blue decorated sleeves and some blue stickers on a few of our cups today!

On Thursday, May 14, we’re joining businesses across Marshfield to Paint Marshfield Blue in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield’s future home!

This community-wide awareness day is all about showing visible support for local children and helping raise awareness for a new stand‑alone building that will create more space, more opportunity, and more access for youth and families right here in our community.

We invite you to join us:

Every show of support helps highlight this project as a true community investment in youth and the future of Marshfield!

We just restocked the ledge on Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co.

Stop by and grab some- we will help support Clark County Humane Society, Wisconsin with operation Beagle.

A reminder- 100 percent of anything we make above cost on these bags of coffee gets donated back to animal saving efforts year round to include:

Emergency Vet Care like Paisley Paws, surgical equipment for low cost spay and neuter programs, adoption fees... you get the idea. All of that, in one 12 oz bag for 16.00.

(And us brewing and buying G&H allows them to donate across the nation the same way!)

Our rescued Beagles will be arriving on Monday, May 11th. We are so excited to be helping them! We are preparing now so that we are ready for their arrival. If you'd like to assist, we are in need of dog food, paper towels, Tide liquid laundry detergent, dog treats, dog toys, and new martingale collars for them to start their new chapter in life! We have filled our part time position. ❤️

We now need to fill a long term full-ish timer- about 28-30 hours a week but sometimes the ask may be for 35. We are not hiring just for a summer only position.

This position would need previous customer service experience. Our lines are long and it can get overwhelming. It would require every other weekend and a mix of opens/mids/closes. We are flexible and all share the load.

I'm specifically looking for someone speedy and friendly- able to multi-task and maintain a clean atmosphere. We can teach coffee, promise!

Starting is 12.00 plus tips. If you applied before and we didn't get to you, please PM again. I will do my best to get through the messages.

This position has the opportunity for growth as I will be seeking a manager come fall!
