To Our Amazing Yum Yums Extended Family and Friends 🩷
SO MANY CHANGES! 😊🩷
After 6 wonderful years of serving this incredible community, we have made the difficult decision to close our current Yum Yums eatery storefront.
Amongst other factors, the ongoing Gratiot Road resurfacing and closures have created challenges that have become impossible for our small business to overcome.
People are avoiding the area because of the difficulty navigating the construction. Our sales have dropped by approximately 60%, and we've received multiple, often conflicting, completion dates for the road construction—some extending as far out as October. As much as we've tried to hang on, we simply cannot continue paying 100% of our expenses with only 40% of our normal income. It was with this final obstacle ( the road construction mess) that we made the decision to move.
Have no fear -While this chapter is ending, our story is not.
If you currently have an order with us, please don't worry!
We are moving into a new kitchen in downtown St. Clair, and if we haven't already contacted you, we will be reaching out soon with all the information you'll need regarding your order pickup. If you are a food truck event, this will not impact you at all. We will be at your event on the day and time you have picked.
This definitely isn't goodbye—it's simply a new beginning and there is always magic in new beginnings!🌞😊🩷
