It’s hard for me to write this! But we wanted to inform all our customers that our bosses John and Shelby had to make a hard decision and decided to close down Square Plate! Tomorrow will be our last day open! Most of y’all have already known about or have seen the for sale sign in our window that was placed after rodeo weekend. Original plan was hoping to stay open till the end of January but unfortunately with how slow the economy has been, it has made it nearly impossible to see those plans through. We our truly sorry and saddened by this news. But we as employee's wanted to say we appreciate the opportunity we were given to serve our small hometown community and we appreciate all our customers especially the ones that stopped by every week! We will miss seeing and serving y’all! We also wanted to tell our current bosses and past bosses how much we appreciate y’all for giving us an opportunity to work for y’all. Some of us have been for working for Square Plate for many years, myself included going on 10 years. We will definitely be missing this place!
On a happier note…we will be serving one of our customers’ favorite tomorrow, our famous Turkey and Dressing Special! Please stop by for one last meal with us!! We would appreciate it! Please spread the word!! We will be open from 11am to 2pm/ maybe 3pm!
