In 2016 Christmas at the Barn was introduced to Masontown, WV in Preston County. Marion, PA making a transition would be a challenge. The 350 acre farm (BR Farms) belonging to Roger and Brenda Street was graciously offered providing the needs for this popular and flourishing show and sale. A beautiful farm, flat ground, barns, corn cribs, equipment sheds and an old farm house made for the perfect

setting and choice. In early October, we began cleaning and artistically decorating the buildings. The fenced area began taking shape depicting that of a small shopping village. The "mini shops" were filled with unique artisan favorites and collections. Christmas lights, holiday music, candle lit luminaries, an outdoor fire pit and carolers dressed in period style reflected the image of an old fashion vintage Christmas. Working diligently, the question still lingered. Would folks follow us to BR Farms on Herring Road? The first week of November and opening day arrived. We nervously wondered if we had set up for success or doom. Customers arrived early and a line formed at the opening gate. Our hearts swelled with pride, joy and gratitude. The move had been accepted and we became the new show in town. The follow year (2017) WV Living and NCWV acknowledged us as one of the premier events in the state. This accolade made us realize the need for additional display area and upgrades. In 2018 an event room and stationary restrooms were constructed. Both served a twofold advantage allowing the ability to hold weddings, family reunions and various other events. The "white room" was upgraded in 2023. The yearly growth of the show and sale indicated the right move had been made to our new home. Being such a unique show along with the set up, Christmas at the Barn gives artisans, pickers, collectors, antiquers, craftsmen, woodworkers, junkers, foodies and lovers of "stuff" the opportunity to fulfill their passion. It's the perfect place to start your holiday shopping, enjoy the ambience and celebrate the reason for the season. We have been blessed and God is good....

The rains and wind showed up again yesterday but we marched forward. Shoppers arrived prepared for the weather. Our local children’s choir (Mountain View Pentecostal Church) performed beautifully regardless of the rain. God is good and celebrated during His season! There is still lots of shopping to enjoy and sweet tooth goodies around the check out area. Jump in your vehicle and come out to the show and sale. A cooler day but all is well. And we do have some of the cutest little shoppers as well. ❤️
