Due to the current circumstances of the virus outbreak, Big Ed's is taking as many safety precautions that we can think of to ensure safety for all our loyal and future patrons, as well as our staff.
SOME PRECAUATIONS FOR INSTANCE
- We are no longer having ketchup bottles on the table, we are serving them in plastic cups with a lid.
-We are no longer using oil and vinegar holders, we are also serving them in plastic cups with lids.
-All staff are washing hands much more frequently.
-We are no longer using check presenters, we will present the check on it's own.
-We are no longer using coasters, and will be using cocktail napkins,
-To the folks who like to use wetnaps/wetwipes, we are temporarily eliminating those. We would prefer our patrons to wash their hands in our bathroom with soap and water.
-We are offering customers the option to use plasticware kits or our in house silverware. Our dishwasher is serviced regularly, and Old Bridge Dept. of Health was here March 2nd and fully cleared us.
-Bus people/food runners will now be wearing latex gloves and will be changing them hourly as informed, and washing hands before putting on a new pair.
-We will be switching to wrapped plastic straws, and place them on the table. We will be using those straws for children's beverages
-We are diligently using tongs on all fruit, condiments etc..
-Menu's will be cleaned with sanitizing spray after every usage.
-We will be using sanitizer spray to clean tables, booths chairs, and throughout the restaurant. (no windex or any other type of cleaner)
-Any staff member who feels sick or does not look up to par will be sent home.
These are just a few of the things we've implemented, and we are coming up with more as the days go by. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, feel free to comment or email us at [email protected]
Thank you for your patronage over the years. Hopefully the things going on will be over before long. We will continue to practice some of the new steps we've integrated after this event ends.
Thank you once again,
Big Ed
