Today's experiment? Mini pie flights!

The first test batch includes:

🍑 Raspberry Peach
🫐 Blueberry
🍒 Cherry
🍓 Strawberry

A few things we learned:

✨ More filling than we thought... (clearly 😅)
✨ Tiny lattice tops are much harder than they look.
✨ They're messy in all the best ways—and absolutely worth it.

There is something so special about spending a summer day in the blueberry patch. 🫐💙

Tuesday we came home with 11 pounds of fresh blueberries and turned them into some of our favorite cozy kitchen staples:

Picking every berry by hand has been so rewarding this season, these are the kinds of slow summer days that inspire everything we create at Almonds & Honey. The kitchen smells amazing, the pantry shelves are filling up, and our hearts are full.

🌿 A little afternoon in the Almonds & Honey test kitchen...

Some of our favorite ideas begin with whatever the garden is ready to share. Today, we gathered fresh herbs and spent the afternoon turning them into simple pantry staples.

Our newest experiments:
🌱 Garden Herb Salt — fresh basil, rosemary, and oregano blended with sea salt.
🌿 Mint Sugar — fresh garden mint blended into sugar for the sweetest little taste of summer.

Simple ingredients. Fresh from the garden. Made by hand.

We're already dreaming of herb salt on warm bread with butter, roasted vegetables, fresh tomatoes, and cozy soups. And the mint sugar? Perfect for tea, lemonade, berries, baking, or the rim of a summer drink.

They're still in the test kitchen phase, but we couldn't resist sharing this little glimpse behind the scenes. Sometimes the simplest recipes become the ones you reach for again and again.

🍓 We went strawberry picking and came home with 22 lbs of sweet summer goodness! After a busy day in the kitchen, we turned our haul into homemade strawberry syrup and strawberry pie filling to savor all year long.

🍫🍪 Introducing Brookie Pudding Cups! 🍪🍫

Layers of rich chocolate pudding, fudgy brownie bites, silky caramel drizzle, fluffy whipped cream, and topped with chunks of cookie dough for the ultimate brownie-cookie mashup.

We're not saying this one may have become a new favorite around here... but we're not *not* saying it either. 🤭
