Eighteen years ago, we opened the doors with a dream, a lot of determination, and probably a few ideas that seemed much smarter after a cold beer.
What happened next was something we never could have imagined.
Over the years, customers became friends, friends became family, and together we built something truly special. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, retirements, victories, and even helped each other through life's tougher moments. We've laughed until our sides hurt, shared countless stories, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Somewhere along the way, this little bar grew into "the little bar to beat"—and that's because of YOU.
Thank you for every meal ordered, every drink shared, every event attended, every recommendation made, and every moment spent with us. Your support, loyalty, and friendship have meant more than words can ever express.
While we're excited for this next chapter, it's hard to imagine not seeing so many of your faces on a daily basis. Please know that each of you has played a part in The Way Station's story, and for that, we will be forever grateful.
As we pass the torch, we ask that you continue showing the same love and support to Melissa and her family as they begin their own chapter of The Way Station journey. We know they'll bring their own memories, traditions, and successes to this place we all love so much.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for 18 incredible years. Thank you for helping turn a little roadside bar into a community, a gathering place, and a family.
And remember... you're never really a former Way Station customer. Once you're family, you're family forever.
