🌟 Incoming Senior Spotlight: Yaretzi Castañeda 🌟

Our incoming senior, Yaretzi Castañeda, is making the most of her summer with an incredible lineup of opportunities! After participating in Subiendo at UT Austin, Yaretzi was selected for NASA SEES (STEM Enhancement in Earth Science)—a highly competitive in-person summer internship hosted by the University of Texas Center for Space Research. Through the program, she collaborates with NASA and academic experts on authentic research in aerospace, remote sensing, and climate science.

As if that weren't enough, she'll also be participating in a leadership program at USC, continuing to build the skills and experiences that will prepare her for future success.

We are so proud of Yaretzi's hard work, dedication, and drive. We love to see our students shine—congratulations, Yaretzi! 🚀✨

Los Encinos Seniors Shine at Brown University Summer Programs!!

Congratulations to our incoming Los Encinos 12th graders—Constanza Gonzalez, Maria Veronica Valdez, Paola Anali Aparicio, and Cordelia Castillo—who are participating in prestigious summer programs at Brown University. Through their hard work, dedication, and academic achievement, each student earned a scholarship covering the full cost of the program.

Students selected programs that align with their interests and future goals, including Introduction to Medicine: Do You Want to Be a Doctor? and Talk It Out: The Psychology of Interpersonal Communication. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing how this enriching experience supports their continued academic and personal growth. Congratulations, and best wishes for a successful summer at Brown University!
