I’ve been working on a new finish for my handles, replacing tung oil with UV resin to form what I think should be a longer lasting, more durable finish. So far I’m really pleased with what I’ve come up with but there is always room for continued improvement.

Another big chopper in the works - this one from recycled sawmill steel. It’s a hair leaner than most of the others I’ve made, but will still have plenty of mass to make chopping easy peasy.
