Bresnan Bread and Pastry is seeking a passionate, hardworking, detail-oriented sourdough bread baker to join our team.

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience with naturally leavened breads

• Enjoys working with a team

• Takes pride in producing handmade, artisan baked goods

Responsibilities include:

• Scaling, mixing, fermenting, shaping, and baking artisan breads

• Maintaining sourdough starters and levains

• Monitoring fermentation and dough development

• Baking breads to our quality standards

Qualifications:

• Previous artisan/sourdough baking experience preferred

• Knowledge of natural fermentation and sourdough starter maintenance

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• A passion for the craft of baking

Schedule:
• Full-time
• Tuesday–Friday | Midnight–10A
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required

We’ve got a lot of fun summer things happening around the bakery right now 😌

🇺🇸 Our 4th of July menu is officially live, but…

🥧 We couldn’t wait until the 4th...

For the next two weeks, we’ll be stocking the cold case with pie slices 😌

• Strawberry Lime with St. Germain Whip
• S’mores

Available in the McKinney bakery Wednesday–Sunday (6/24–6/28) and again Wednesday–Sunday (7/1–7/5).

💜 We’ve also officially perfected our housemade lavender syrup. Add it to your matcha, espresso, or lemonade for a bright little taste of summer.

-It’s Brioche Week! Pre-orders close Tuesday at NOON for pickup this Saturday.

Just a heads up, we’ll be making a few menu changes in the coming weeks, so if you’ve got a favorite pastry, now might be a good time to come grab it ;)

Our Potato Au Gratin Danish with Candied Bacon features a cube of layered cheesy potato au gratin baked in our Danish dough and garnished with two strips of candied bacon.

We’ll have a limited number available in the case starting Friday and throughout Father’s Day weekend!!!
