Happy Holidays & Happy New Year from us at the Velvet Monkey. ❤️

There is so much we are looking forward to celebrating in 2026, including the shop’s fifteen years of operation (and five years now of us owning it) in July, and our own anniversary of our first ever date that we had at the Velvet Monkey ten years ago this February. Cheers to 5, 10, and 15 years! We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

**Today only! We will be giving everyone who stops by the shop a FREE hot 16oz to-go cup of Christmas in McMinnville to celebrate Small Business Saturday!

Our long awaited (and much requested!) signature holiday blend is back for the season! A festive spin on our signature Morning in McMinnville, our Christmas in McMinnville brews a cup brimming with all the flavor notes of the holiday season: citrus, spice, and mint.

Christmas in McMinnville is a blend featuring the full bright leaves of White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) white tea at its base, complemented by robust Yunnan black tea, whole star anise, cinnamon, clove, orange peel, ginger, peppermint, and of course, pink peppercorns.

Christmas in McMinnville is hand blended by us in store, made in limited batches depending on availability, so order yours soon!

Tariff update #2:

We are quickly running out of teas that we have carried for years; many of these teas come from a distributing company that has ceased production and ultimately closed due to the tariffs, so we will be unable to restock. We are in the process of ordering new teas, however we are facing challenges of availability, as well as significant price increases within the industry as a result of the tariffs.

Please reference our stock list for availability, updated 11/12; subject to change. Our website inventory should be up to date as well for our online customers.
