Hungry, but don’t want to cook during quarantine? You’re in the right group!

In an effort to support as many Capital Region Food Venues as we all can during this difficult time... this is the place where local venue owners and their customers can share small locally owned establishments links, menus, and specials... as well as pics of your favorite delivered or to-go meals.
(No chains please)

This group is about helping small local businesses here to keep their doors open, that currently employ many of our personal friends and family members. ❤️

This group is not meant to compete with other groups, were just doing our part. All are welcome to be a part of this community and all are welcome to share.

We know there’s many people not eating take out right now too.... but even if you don’t eat out often, local Restaurants, Delis, and Markets need our help by sharing about them. Social Media is amazing and it is an incredible community.
The goal of this group is to support businesses who need us to tell people they are open, so they can stay open.

This group has members from Florida, Texas, New Hampshire and other States that have lived here in the 518 at one time and called the Capital Region HOME, and that’s okay.
It doesn’t matter where you are from, you can be a part of this community and help share about 518 venues that are open to serve us all.

When afternoon tea became fashionable in the early 19th century, thanks to the Anna, the Duchess of Bedford it was never intended to replace dinner but rather to fill in the long gap between lunch and dinner at a time when dinner was served at 8pm."
"The drinking of tea not only became a social event for the upper classes, it altered the time and manner in which they took tea. Afternoon Tea became the bridge between meals because many wouldn't eat their evening meal until maybe 8pm. As such, Afternoon Tea became a 'mini meal' in itself."

Hello all you Tea Snobs out there!
We miss so many of you, and we are so blessed to have such supportive and loyal customers like all of you. Thanks for all the encouragement and love! TEA PEOPLE ARE AMAZING PEOPLE!
Many of you know that I have to move Blu Tea Company out of my current retail location due to circumstances beyond my control, but we are still very much in business and here for you and can honor all gift certificates. It's been a long and difficult year and a half trying to service customers in our current location, so we must move from that building and street so that we can be available for you.
THIS IS GOOD NEWS! To clarify, we are NOT closed. If anything, I am very Excited about the direction that Blu Tea Company is headed in! We are still here to meet all of your Gourmet Loose Leaf Tea & Gift Shop needs, and especially since we are finally able to service our customers again.
Blu Tea Company has been in business for almost 10 years, we operated before opening the retail shop in Mechanicville NY, and we will still continue to be in business during this transition. Thank you so much for all of your support!
