Hi friends!! Before I left, many of you asked if I would keep you informed on what I would be doing over in Eau Claire after I finally got settled in… Well, today I started my new job! I am the dining chef for the lunch and dinner services at Oakwood Hills Senior Sky Active apartment complex.
If you remember how I did Thursday lunch back at the fire station, that is kind of what this is like… I am in charge of making choice of 2 entrees per meal with all the fixings. Unfortunately, I won’t be feeding the public unless you know someone who lives there and you join them for a meal. My shift is going to be 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Thursday. Very excited about that! And… I get breaks! I was so bored on my half hour break today, I was gonna go in and clean! I wanna say thank you to those that have been asking about how I’m doing since leaving. As I’ve said to you before, it was not an easy decision, but I can tell you that it was the right decision at the right time of my life. (3rd pic is self explanatory) I miss you all and will be running into you soon I’m sure!❤️
