Join us Downtown for another wonderful evening of classic jazz featuring the John Bass Quartet.

Memphis jazz stalwarts Gary Topper (saxophone), Tom Lonardo (drums) and CJ Manning (bass) join Rhodes College Professor and Director of the Mike Curb Institute for Music guitarist John Bass for a fresh take on Memphis jazz. Selections will range from well-known standards to new original works as the Quartet pays homage to the rich jazz heritage of Memphis along the way.

The quartet is led by John Bass, a Memphis-based guitarist and educator whose work over the past 25 years has garnered regional, national, and international recognition. As an artist, Bass has worked with artists such as Bobby Rush, George Coleman, and Kirk Whalum, and his published scholarly work fosters new ways of looking at music history, education, and practice.

Another classic Cavern Jazz evening not to be missed. Buy your tickets early as all shows this year have sold out. Use the link in the Bio to purchase your ticket. Remember, no dinner service in the Cavern.

Another fantastic night of Jazz in the Cavern at the Brass Door Memphis. Known as WE SEE, this young and up coming local jazz group is led by bassist Logan Clark. He brings his quartet to The Cavern for a night of standards with a few modern jazz compositions thrown in to shake it up. WE SEE features soon to be Memphis giants trumpeter Terry Washington, guitarist Aidan Mills and drummer Henry Conerway III. Expect a night of original arrangements and interpretations of songs you know and love along with a few more obscure standards allowing the group to explore. This new quartet is not to be missed.

Logan Clark has been playing consistently in the Memphis area for over 4 years with the likes of Joe Restivo, Ted Ludwig, Tom Lonardo and Art Edmaiston. Originally from NW Arkansas, Logan moved to Memphis to attend the University where he has held the principal bass chair in the Jazz program for nearly three years.
🎵 For tickets, click link in bio. Limited number sold. And remember, drinks only in the Cavern. Come early for dinner upstairs or try one of the great restaurants downtown.

Come on Ireland! Take a late lunch and join us!

We hope everyone had an enjoyable St. Patrick's Day. Let's keep that Irish spirit going on Thursday, March 26th, and cheer on Na Buachaillí i nGlas again, only this time the Irish football (soccer) team as they face a make-or-break playoff against the Czechs for a chance to qualify for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in North America this summer.

After a tremendous last-gasp winner against Hungary last November to earn this playoff opportunity, the entire nation will be supporting them in this challenging fixture.

So please join us at The Brass Door to be part of the global diaspora as we cheer on the Boys in Green. Kickoff at 2:45pm. Eire Abu!
