To our customers, we appreciate your support and hope to see you all soon. We were scheduled today Wiseacre Brewing Company] and Saturday Memphis Made Brewing Co.] .
Because of the despair, disappointment, anger and many other nouns that can be inserted. We have decided to cancel tonight’s dinner service. It seems trivial at this point.
Tomorrow also remains undecided.
We hope the Wells/Nichols family find comfort in the coming days/weeks & years.
Thanks to Wiseacre Brewing Company] & Memphis Made Brewing Co.] for understanding and the support during this difficult time again in Memphis.
ALL crimes are evil. But mindless or purposeless crimes are harder to understand. One’s who took an oath to protect citizens, turn and do the exact opposite is beyond unacceptable. Escapes words.
It is hard to comprehend why a person would walk up to total strangers and harm them, cause their injury or death or why someone would drive by a house and shoot at random people, or any of the other senseless acts of crime that we see daily in Memphis, and nationwide.
2 Timothy 3:3, 4 states that people would have “no natural affection” and that they would be “without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness. We see it.
Hopefully all are safe this evening and in the coming days. And hopefully one horrible senseless act does not lead to more violence.
Gods word at Psalm 37:10 which informs us of God’s promise: “Just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; and you will certainly give attention to his place, and [the wicked] will not be.” God intends to get rid of those who are wicked and have no intention of changing. Those who are willing to become meek, humble, and peaceable, he promises: “Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, and he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see it.” With the wicked ones gone, those remaining will enjoy an “abundance of peace” —a world free from crime of any sort. —Psalm 37:11, 34
Praying for Gods kingdom to come as Jesus modeled for us to do in Matt chapter 6.
Be safe.
